Performance Training in Friendswood, TX

Train smarter and move better to stay ahead of injury

Performance training for athletes who want to keep improving without breaking down. We identify faulty movement patterns before they turn into pain and build strength where it actually matters for your sport.

What happens when movement patterns hold you back

You keep tweaking the same area

Small issues keep popping up in the same joint or muscle group because your body is compensating for a movement problem you haven't addressed yet.

Your lifts or runs feel off

Something doesn't feel smooth anymore—a squat feels uneven, your stride feels choppy, or you can't load one side the way you used to.

You hit a performance plateau

You're working hard but not seeing the gains you expect because inefficient movement is limiting how much force you can actually produce.

Common Conditions We Treat

Movement issues that benefit from targeted training

We address recurring knee discomfort, shoulder tightness or instability, chronic back tension, hip mobility limitations, ankle weakness following old sprains, neck stiffness from poor positioning, and movement patterns that contribute to running pain. The goal is to fix these before they force you to stop training.

Dr. Lee is an amazing person. Real chill and understanding. He definitely knows what he is doing. His trainings are tough but definitely worth it.

When I first came in, I was barely able to run without my knee giving me some weird issues, much less long distances or lifting. He's hands-on and works with you 1-on-1 the whole program which was the biggest thing I wanted out of PT given that I wasn't sure if my knee would be a year-long problem. He took the time to really check out what the issue was with my knee and then worked on my running form and gave me a separate program for that which was a nice plus. I'm now lifting and running with no problems. Def recommend him if you're a runner trying to get back to knocking out a ton of miles again!!

Frequently Asked Questions

You want to know if this is right for your goals and how it fits into your current training. Here's what athletes usually ask.

Is this just strength training?

No. It's movement-focused training that makes your strength training more effective. We address faulty patterns, asymmetries, and weaknesses that limit your performance or put you at risk for injury. Think of it as building a better foundation so everything else works better.

Who is performance training for?

Athletes who want to keep training hard without constantly dealing with tweaks, strains, or recurring issues. It's for people who are serious about staying durable and getting better, not just working around problems.

How is this different from working with a personal trainer?

Personal trainers focus on programming and motivation. We focus on movement quality and identifying the underlying patterns that cause problems. If your trainer has you doing great workouts but you keep getting hurt, we help you figure out why and fix it.

Can I do this alongside my current training?

Yes. Performance training is designed to complement what you're already doing. We work with your schedule and your program to make sure the movement work enhances your training instead of adding too much volume.

What if I'm not dealing with pain right now?

Even better. Performance training is most effective when you're healthy and want to stay that way. We find the movement gaps before they turn into injuries so you can keep progressing without interruptions.
